Eco-ricculum in Action!

Here are images showing the product of some of our classes.

The pictures above were done in class #1 of topic #2 – Pollution. Here students 5 years of age were able to identify the definition of pollution as something that dirties the environment whether it is on land, air, or water. Students were able to understand that pollution makes it hard for nutrients to reach planets affecting flowers growth, they were able to understand that pollution drives away or heavily threatens the life of animals. But most importantly students were able to reach the conclusion that pollution is not good for the environment.

HYPO

The papers above were done in class #2 of topic #1 – Earth. Here students 6 years of age were able to form a hypothesis on whether or not the state of the water (polluted or clean) would affect the growth of a plant. Students were able to reach the conclusion that without food we would not have any source of plants meaning vegetables/fruits, without plants animals could not eat, without out plants or meat humans cannot eat, without water we do not have food therefor without water we cannot live. At the end of this experiment they were also able to see the impact polluted water has on the growth of plants vs the outcome of seeds that were given clean water.  Below are the results:
